Review: Well the movie will win no Oscars; but it was entertaining cute! I enjoyed and think you will too, unless you hate British slang or minor nudity etc...Hope you give it a chance and have fun watching a the movie. Some will not do to some nudity and cursing as well British English may be more than some can understand since so many have limited minds on how people are to speak or express themselves and the puritan mindset which makes the human form a taboo in much of the US. But if you are not prude and self limiting then you should enjoy this as fun and easy to watch movie. It does point out the aspects of unintended consequences that can happen when you make choices.

Review: This movie is sweet with some good actors, good characters and a few jokes. The movie is about a chef that takes his job very seriously with lots of passion who has a mean one dimensional boss a son a hot divorced wife etc. The characters are all interesting except his boss. If you like to watch a family movie/ romantic movie this is 7 Star!! easy! However it is classified as comedy with a joke about every 10 minutes. Even Jaws( horror) had Jokes and so did Commando (action). That does not make them a comedy !! This is a family drama with some jokes! This spoiled it for me since I wanted a good laugh ! There was not a single funny joke until the 40th minute! Most jokes were as much dramatic/ sad as funny.I was on the verge of leaving then Robert Downey Jnr entered the scene . He was there for 5 minutes yet somehow after this - not sure if the actors suddenly realised it or the script writer- but the movie picked up life! Overall it was still way to serious for a comedy! I am not sure who classifies comedy to the genre for this family drama with occasional jokes.. So for a family movie 7 starts for a comedy 4 stars. So I can settle on 5 *.

Review: The movie deserves an A for effort but misses the mark dramatically. The question is: why? The story is evocative and the cast is excellent. Where the movie goes wrong is how it presents the story. The movie attempts to inject a whimsical element in story which is out of context. There was nothing whimsical about the plan to save priceless artwork. Also, the story moves at a slow pace and inspires little if any excitement or drama. The discoveries of the hidden artwork has little dramatic impact, nor do the interpersonal relationships between the characters which in the movie are shallow. Even the attempt at romance comes off as tepid and half-hearted, as well as implausible. The idea of a young, handsome, married American officer, alone in Paris, having dinner in the apartment of an attractive, intelligent, single French woman who made him dinner and not staying for at least another drink is a stretch. True, he is married and his faithfulness is commendable, but still .... The movie does have some strong dramatic moments, but in general the story is bland. Yet despite the movies drawbacks, it still manages to tell a story about an historical event of great importance and significance, and for that reason alone is worth watching.

Review: I am so glad I didnt have to pay to see this movie and I had a gift card instead. This movie was terrible to say the least. I had very high expectations for this movie because I was such a huge fan of the first Anchorman. It seemed like the entire movie was just made up on the spot and filmed and there was no rehearsing at all. Im sure for a lot of people this was a highly anticipated movie and instead it was absolute crap. I have advised all of my friends to save their money for a better movie and rent it when it comes out if you must watch it. I definitely will not be buying this movie when it comes out. Very disappointed. Just do yourself a favor and go see Wolf of Wallstreet or something else. Worst Will Ferrell movie in a LONG time.

Review: (59%) A sub Hitchcockesq thriller that for the most part entertains, but fails to be anything other than a decent standard thriller. Once the slightly absurd premise is defined in pretty much the first 10 mins, the movie then starts to warm up quite nicely. And because Kidmans character only has a 24 hour memory the vulnerability she finds herself in is quite understandably terrifying, as well as more than a little saddening. Besides the very routine nature of the movie, my biggest complaint is that it just doesnt try hard enough in bending the mind, as this could have at least put in something strange, different or unsettling that would have set it apart from the rest, even if it was just one single scene. In the end though this is a good little watch, the acting from the strong cast is better than the movie probably deserves, the direction/writing is perfectly fine, and its certainly not a redundant picture. One to either cheap ticket or rent if youre interested, and even if you do get to see Nicoles naked bottom, I still cant recommend anyone spending too much money watching this.

Review: Some have cast doubts on the verisimilitude of parts of this picture. Of course, those who impugn whether some events really happened or whether they happened the way they are depicted in the movie neither underwent the kind of training Navy S.E.A.Ls do nor did they ever find themselves in circumstances remotely approaching those of the four comrades. We do not know what punishment the human body is truly capable of withstanding until we are put to an extreme test, gods forbid.All I can say is that, regardless of whether this movie is accurate 100%, 0% or anything in between, it brought me to tears. I can honestly not remember the last time a Hollywood movie did that.Very moving, very poignant, very touching. For that alone, as well as for keeping me riveted for the whole of two hours (which is quite a feat given my cynical and jaded nature), it deserves unalloyed plaudits.

Review: This movie was both fun and terrifying. Jake Gyllenhaals performance as Lou Bloom will certainly frighten you. He is brilliant when paired with the amazing monologue style rants written for him.Lou Bloom is a driven man reminiscent of a sociopath who finds he has a talent as nightcrawling in that he takes videos of true crimes as they are happening to be broadcast on the news. His motivation and seeming lack of empathy allow him to break through and take the controversial images, and sell them with a strong aptitude for negotiation.As a character, he grows more and more motivated and seems to learn his business in such a way to bring him amazing success, but to the determinant, perhaps, of his assistant and the victims of these crimes.The writer/ director of this movie (making his directorial debut) certainly understands fear and comedy. The simplest scene was made into a laugh by the angles and cuts.Its funny, and enjoyable, but still terrifying enough to feel like a real horror thriller.
