Review: When I first saw this movie cinema, I found it very enjoyable. When I rented home, I found it very boring and complicated. If you look at it now, I realize it is certainly one of the most extraordinary films ever come out of Hollywood. For some it may look corny or clichéd, or perhaps un-common to be worthy of their praise, but the overall effect of this film is extremely powerful. After you've seen it, you know you've seen something.A some remarkable features stand out. The direction is superb; This is visually superior film director understands subtle changes in tone. The writing is as compelling; story weaves simple multiple stories to create a fantastic film. The haunting music is also remarkable. Finally, the acting. Kevin Spacey has made great movies in the past, and he can add this to the list. He may be a little too quickly to suggest it overshadowed the character he portrays, but he just disappears into the role. Annette Bening is also good; less central role, but she's still amazing. As teenagers, Thora Birch able to enthrall us with an intense gaze; her typical teen role fully specified. I liked Mena Suvaris character alike. It seemed as if she had not been so much attention, but her behavior evokes both innocence and experience, and her scenes at the end gives her a depth unlike any other characters. And Wes Bentley as the boy next to video-taping, is easily the most original character. At first he seems a little tense, but, as Spacey, he sinks into the role. His purpose in the film, unlike the others, is a mystery, making him the most enigmatic person. Most films have the opportunity to make a lasting impression on his audience, but never has a film been known to move its viewers as much like this movie. It really says something about your life, no matter how predictable or sticky, it seems, this film disturb us how to appreciate our individual lives, as Therefore, when they are over, we all have something to remember.
