Review: Wow - this is not unexpected. I believe the trailer after the Battle LA and forgetfulness would be sad, full of action, special effects driven sci-fi blockbuster about an alien invasion - the trailer almost completely failed to convey is the long distances, is also appropriate with almost as funny as Groundhog Day. As he would invite comparisons with Harold Ramis classic / Bill Murray is Obviously, given the premise time loop, but I did not expect what extent these comparisons really are justified and that this film definitely want to tap into the same kind of comedy. Fortunately, it is best for it.Most not expect at all, the main reason for the humorous aspects during the first half of the film works so well, Tom Cruise's character, Major William Cage. It Easy Cruise meatiest role since his turn in Magnolia as Frank TJ Mackey; forget your hero common stern poster boy: here he plays a completely different character? and she really seems to enjoy the opportunity. I will not give much, but be prepared to laugh and laugh when you see a new side of Tom Cruise.Yet while it is not as dark as the trailer suggests, it certainly is not a comedy too. And it really is an action-packed, special effects driven sci-fi blockbuster about an alien invasion of struggle (the trailer got that right), even one with a funny bone and good character. Speaking of which, the rest of the cast is also very good, especially the lovely Emily Blunt. It seems that no matter what he does, he always appears as genuine and authentic; Here he succeeded in portraying his character - a tough, experienced soldiers refer to other soldiers bitch so full of metal (no kidding!) - Just the right touch of vulnerability to make it more likely. Bill Paxton and Brendon Gleeson is always a welcome addition to any film, and while it was great (as always), the character-wise, they do nothing here you have not seen it before. As for the Sci-Fi show that the trailer promised, I am happy to report that the film offers. The fight scenes are very well orchestrated (noo blur transformer style where you do not miss anything out now), and there moments in which the intensity of the struggle remembered landing on Omaha Beach in Saving Private Ryan - without the gore, no doubt (after all, it's PG-13). The design of the alien - the production design in general - is remarkably good, although I would tell the truth if I said it was something new and innovative ways the first Matrix was (is awesome, though) So, my verdict. In one of the (adapted) more inventive script for an original movie (Mega-budget) in a long time and better than ever I saw Tom Cruise in the year, Edge of Tomorrow you will laugh and laugh almost as much as you drop your jaw in awe: it is what Hollywood should do as a model for an exciting entertainment verãoa from today. 9 stars in 10.Favorite Films: http://www.imdb.com/list/ls054200841/
